It’s almost spring, but the course is open now for anyone who wants to walk. At this time, we must emphasize that absolutely no power carts are allowed on the course because the ground is still too soft. But if you are willing to walk, both members and non-members are welcome. You are able to reserve tee times online and non-members will be able to pay green fees on-line as well at www.lodigolf.com.
Our target (weather permitting) for opening the clubhouse is April 1st. Like last year, we will continue to strictly limit people from entering the clubhouse. However, we will have attendants there so you can pay membership fees, make tee times, pay green fees and purchase beverages. If positive progress toward controlling COVID-19 continues, we hope to open the clubhouse to the public sometime later in the summer.
There is one thing that is new this year that we want to make you aware of. Even though the clubhouse is off limits to the public, we have installed a storm door on the three-season porch attached to the clubhouse. This will allow members and guests a place to sit either before or after their golf round. We do however need to emphasize that all the COVID-19 safety protocols need to be adhered to when using the porch. Make sure you are socially distanced from others and if you are not eating or drinking anything, please continue to wear a mask. We will also open all the windows on the porch when the weather permits. This will help improve ventilation, which will further reduce COVID-19 risks.
MEMBERS – All members are welcome to continue scheduling tee times on the LODIGOLF.COM website. Just need to remember that the clubhouse will be closed and no power carts are allowed on the course at this time.
NON-MEMBERS – Non-members are also welcome to schedule tee times and pay for green fees on-line, but again, please be aware that there will be no cart rentals available.
